Goldilocks and the Three Bears

One day a family of three bears decided to go walk before their breakfast. And they did it. But after they went out, a girl called Goldilocks saw their house and said "What a nice home!" Then she went inside.
At first, she saw the kitchen. There were three bowls of prridge. She ate the little bowl. And next, She went into the living room. There are three chairs. Although she tried the little chair, she broke it down. At last she found the bed room. She lay down the little one, and went sleep.
A family came back home, and was surprised. That's because there were many evidences that someone stayed this home. They found out Goldilocks, and get angry. Goldilocks ran away in a hurry.
I think that it's not unacceptable to invade into the other's personal space without permission.

The Ugly Ducking

Five birds are born from each egg. Four birds of them  are fluffy and cute. But one of them is gray and ugly. Cute dncks peaked their ugly brother, and said "You are ugly! Go away!"
The gray duck ran away, and met some herons. However, he is peaked and said "You are ugly! Go away!" by them, too.
He ran away again, and met the most beautiful birds he had ever seen. They were swans. He was afraid of being bullied, lived in hiding.
However, one day he grew up, he noticed that he was a swan. Then he lived happily.
I think that what people say have a big influence on forming identity.

The Little Red Hen

The little red hen decided to plant some wheat, and said "Who will help me plant this?" A cat, a dog, and a duck said "Not me!" So he plant all by himself.
Next, he had to cut the wheat. He said "Who will help me cut this?" Three animals said "Not me!" So he cut all by himself.
Then he tried to bake the wheat into the bread. He said "Who will help me bake this into the bread?" Three animals said "Not me!" So he did it by himself.
At last, he finished all and said "Who will eat this bread?" Three animals said "Me!" But the little red hen said"No! Because you didn't help. I will just have to eat this bread by myself."
I think this story has very close meaning with a Japanese saying. "Those who do not work do not eat.'

The Spider and the Beehive

A spider and a boy lived in the same village. The spider thought "I am smarter than others." The boy has an ability of finding the biggest and the sweetest fruit in the jungle.
One day, the spider asked the boy to take him to where there is the best plum. The boy accepted. And the spider ate up every single plum and didn't share any when they arrived there. Next, the spider asked the boy to take him to where there is the best bananas. There, he repeated the same.
At third, the spider asked to take him to where there is the best honey. The boy accepted. And they arrived there. The spider squeezed into the hole in the hive. But, after that, he couldn't come out of the hole because his belly had become too big. The boy ignored the spider, went back home.
The spider came out of the hole after that, get to share any food with friends.

Martina the Cookroach

In this story, a cook roach, Martina found out an gold coin at first. She came up with a lot of ideas about how to use that coin. But finally, she decided to buy a perfame. Then she put it on, fixed her hair, put on a pretty dress. And she went outside to look for her mariage partner. She didn't want to share her house with a loud husband. So she declined proposal from animals that had unpleasant voice. At last, she met her ideal voice. She married to the mouse.
I think to get married is so difficult.

The City Mouse and the Country Mouse

In this story, the city monse visited the country mouse at first. They play together, and they get to be hungry. When they nibbled some corns and beans, the city mouse said "This food is so boring." Then he suggested the country mouse that they went to the city together. The country mouse took the offer.
In the city, they had a great time. However, when they ate the meat, the cheese, and the pie, the person and the animals came into the dinning room. The country mouse thought the city was dangerous. And he went back home.
I think this story says it depens on the person what he/she emphasize.

He tried to help a princess who was sleeping in the castle. They had him kiss the princess along the story. And this adventure is over.
